４月中旬に植えたとうもろこしが、大きく立派に実りました。
子どもたちは、植えた後も時々様子を見に行き、育っていく姿を楽しみにしていました。
気づけば、大人の背丈を超えるほど大きく育ち、その姿にみんな大喜びです！
収穫したとうもろこしは、給食にも使い、1人一本ずつ家に持ち帰りました。
中には、持ち帰り皮をむいて、生のまま甘みを味わう子もいたようです。
自分で植えて育てたとうもろこしは、特別においしいに決まってます。
持ち帰ったとうもろこしを見て、保護者の方々もとても喜んでおられました。

Corn Harvest

The corn we planted in mid-April grew tall and looked healthy, big, and beautiful.The children eagerly watched over the corn after planting, often visiting the field to check on its progress. Before we knew it, the plants had grown big, bringing smiles and excitement to everyone!We used some of the harvested young corn in our school lunches, and each child brought one corn home. Some children couldn’t wait and peeled their corn to enjoy its natural sweetness raw! Risk takers!There’s something truly special about eating corn that you planted and cared for by yourself. Also, the parents were delighted to see the corn their children brought home.
