今年度から卒園児の子どもたちを招待し「カレー会」開催。

卒園児の子どもたちにどんな風に楽しんでもらおうか？と職員と5歳児とで一緒に考え

「カレーの材料、買いたい！」

「みんなで一緒にカレー作って、食べてもらう」

「外国人の先生にゲームしてもらう」

と出てきたアイディアは色々。

さぁ～カレー会当日の流れは・・・

2歳児ジャガイモ洗い、3歳児玉ねぎの皮むき、４歳児ピーラーでの人参の皮むき、そして最後に5歳児が人参・じゃがいもを切ってkitchenへ「おねがいします」と届けました。

カレーが出来るまでの間は、5歳児の子どもたちと卒園児の子どもたちとの交流です！

給食はどんなの？どんなことしている？等の質問をしたり一緒にダンスを楽しんだり

外国人講師と一緒にゲームをしたりしました。

そうしているうちに、Kitchenスタッフが愛情込めて作ってくれた「美味しいカレー」が

出来上り、幼児組と卒園児は一緒に食事タイム。

心も体も楽しさと美味しさで幸せいっぱいになった、子どもたちです。

We had so much fun at the Curry Party!
This year, we invited the graduates of MIP to our first “Curry Party.” The teachers and the 5-year-olds thought together about how to make it fun for everyone. Here are some of the ideas they came up with: “We want to buy the ingredients for the curry!” “Let’s cook the curry together and let everyone eat it.” “Let’s have the foreign teachers play games with us.”
On the day of the Curry Party, here’s what happened: The 2-year-olds washed the potatoes. The 3-year-olds peeled the onions. The 4-year-olds peeled the carrots with a peeler. Finally, the 5-year-olds cut the carrots and potatoes and took them to the kitchen, saying “Please make the curry!”
While the curry was being cooked, the 5-year-olds spent time with the graduates. They asked questions like, “What is your school lunch like?” and “What do you do at school?” They also enjoyed dancing together and played games with the foreign teachers.
After some time, the kitchen staff finished making the delicious curry with lots of love. The younger children and the graduates ate together. Everyone felt so happy and full of fun and enjoyed the tasty curry!
