 田植えってこんなに楽しい！ 
Sunクラス（５歳児）の子どもたちが、廿日市市吉和にある石田農園へ田植え体験に行ってきました！
園バスでの移動は約１時間２０分。長い道のりもなんのその！バスの中ではクイズをしたり、おしゃべりに花を咲かせたり、車窓の景色を楽しんだりと、笑顔がいっぱいの時間になりました。山道でも酔うことなく、元気いっぱいに吉和へ到着！
到着すると、優しい農家のご家族が出迎えてくださり、さっそく田んぼへ。広くてぬかるんだ田んぼを前に、ちょっぴりドキドキしていた子どもたちも、いざ入ってみると…すぐに夢中に！
泥んこになりながら、手で苗を植える感覚を全身で感じ、「わあ〜！」「たのしい〜！」と、自然の中で思いっきり体を動かしていました。
まっすぐきれいに…とはいかなかったけれど、「あ〜楽しかった！」とみんな大満足の様子！
お昼は吉和保育園の園庭でお弁当タイム外で食べるお弁当は格別でした。その後は、先日佐伯で植えたとうもろこし畑にも立ち寄り、成長の様子をしっかりチェックしてから園に戻りました。
自然の中で学び・感じ・動いた、盛りだくさんの１日でした！

 Fun Rice Planting! 

Our Sun Class (5-year-olds) went on an exciting field trip to Ishida Farm in Yoshiwa, Hatsukaichi City for a hands-on rice planting experience! The preschool bus ride took about 1 hour and 20 minutes, but the time flew by. The children enjoyed fun quizzes, happy conversations, while looking out the windows at the beautiful scenery. Even on the winding mountain roads, everyone felt great and arrived in Yoshiwa full of energy!At the farm, a kind farming family warmly welcomed us and guided everyone to the rice fields. The big, muddy field looked a little scary at first, but as soon as the children stepped in, they couldn’t stop smiling! They got muddy while planting rice seedlings by hand. With joyful shouts of “Wow!” and “This is fun!”, they moved around freely and had a great time connecting with nature. The rice rows may not have been perfectly straight, but the experience was filled with laughter and pride. Everyone said, “That was so much fun!”Afterwards, the children had a delicious picnic lunch in the yard of Yoshiwa Preschool. Eating boxed lunch outdoors made it extra special. On the way back, the class stopped by a cornfield in the Saeki district to check on the corn they planted earlier. They were excited to see how much the corn had grown. It was a day full of nature, learning, and joyful memories!
