大雨が降った次の日です。バケツに水を汲み、子ども達が大急ぎで水を運んでいます。何が始まるのでしょうか。

The day after the heavy rains was an ideal time for the children at MIP to play outdoors. They rushed to fetch water in pails (buckets). What did they do next? What happened?

近くの子ども達も集まり、裸足で夢中になり川づくりが始まりました。それぞれが川を作っていくと、友だちの作った川とつながっていきます。

The children went barefooted and started making muddy puddles and waterways. They connected their courses into a “river” as they called it.
More and more children noticed the action and they also joined the crazy fun. They were totally engaged and with a collaborative effort, they constructed their dream MIP River. It was a lovely atmosphere of cooperation and creativity.

大きい子の様子をじっと見つめる子ども達の姿が見られます。お姉ちゃんの真似っこをしようと真剣な表情です。子ども達のひらめき、そして行動力は素晴らしいですね。大人が何も言わなくても子ども達の遊びはどんどん広がっていきます.

The picture below shows younger children watching a demonstration by an older friend. The children showed keen interest and looked ready to imitate their master. How wonderful and inspiring to see how children develop skills and attitudes through play!
